Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (PRS)
PRS continues to be the No.1 plastic surgery journal in the world. For the third consecutive year, PRS was named “Best Peer-Reviewed Journal” from both the American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors in 2015. Like the specialty itself, PRS continued to push the boundaries of possibility for scientific journals, expanding its video offerings, blogs and social media presence to offer plastic surgeons, residents – and the public – a true multimedia experience.
Plastic Surgery News (PSN)
The most-read news publication in the specialty marked its 10th straight year of national recognition in 2015 by winning the Excel Gold Award in feature writing from Association Media and Publishing – PSN’s seventh first-place award since 2006. More importantly, PSN continues to be a trusted source of information for members by offering timely and in-depth information on the top stories in the specialty.
PRS Global Open
The world’s first open-access plastic surgery journal continued its rapid growth in 2015, publishing original articles and case reports from more than 40 countries. Available for free to anyone with an internet connection, PRS Global Open makes important plastic surgical research available to the most remote areas of the world, while offering researchers an additional, reputable outlet to see their work published – and indexed – quickly on a global scale.
Plastic Surgery Resident
The only magazine written exclusively for plastic surgery residents and fellows, Plastic Surgery Resident debuted in 2015 as a joint effort between the editors of PSN and YPS Perspective. Published quarterly, Plastic Surgery Resident covers a wide range of topics from must-read journal articles and CPT coding to international plastic surgery and tips for making the most out of residency.
This weekly round-up of the top stories in plastic surgery helps keep ASPS members aware of what their patients are reading in the popular press about the specialty. Delivered every Tuesday to your in-box, PSN Connection keeps plastic surgeons on the cutting edge of breaking news in the specialty, industry and beyond.
